What I am going to write is BTS fanfiction.
Technically I will not call it fanfiction but rather a story.
The names are partially real, the designations are partially real.
But still, it is a work of fiction and whatsoever has no relevance with real events that have occurred at the time of the characters lives.
I am a BTS stan and my bias is Min Yoongi.
While I have devoured many fanfictions but most of them included the makanae line and strangely excluding the Hyung line.
Well, I admit it is obvious since most fans are young or actually very young, they will prefer more YA elements. I have read many great works to be quite honest.
But, there is always a lack of...um...how do I put it, in my opinion (subjective completely) a certain level of maturity. Because I believe smut is not a sign of maturity but I admit it is hot to read.
I am not a very good writer either but after reading and scouring, I decided I will try to write a fanfic about my bias.
I have an outline in mind but only time will tell how the story will proceed.
Yes, it might contain sexual elements or triggering content such as domestic violence so I warn ahead. Might even contain the mental health issues of the characters.
My goal is not to write YA no matter how matter I love this vast genre.
In Japanese manga, they have categorized manga or anime according to age and gender.
I will try to keep my story in the seinen category. (look it up)
I REPEAT AGAIN THIS IS A WORK OF FICTION AND I DO NOT KNOW ANY CHARACTERS IN PERSON EXCEPT THE CHARACTER THAT PORTRAYS YOONGI THROUGH THE LYRICS HE HAS WRITTEN AND HOW I HAVE INTERPRETED IT. I KEEP REWRITING THE ETHICAL ISSUES ABOUT WRITING A CHARACTER WHO EXISTS BUT THE REALITY IS DIFFERENT AND THE WAY THE STORY WILL PROCEED WILL NEVER OCCUR IN REALITY. IT IS AN AUTHOR'S SUBJECTIVE PROJECTION OF A CHARACTER HE OR SHE LOOKS UP TO.
