Dragons. Something that plagued the existence of everyone on the CHS side of the portal every human would not hesitate to kill. Even Fluttershy learned how to strike down these enemies. When people Rainbow Dash finds she has a knack for these dragons, even weapon less, they give her the honor of killing a dragon, only for her to begin saying nonsense about being able to become friends with the dragons. She payed for that with her life, carried off by a black dragon they've never seen the species of before.
Ten years later, her friends are still mourning the loss of their friend. Dragon attacks stopped, other than a stray dragon on occasion, but Sunset can't seem to let go of her mourning. But then, she meets someone. Someone who everyone feared and preached the same thing Rainbow did. Being friends with dragons. Their name? Dragon Ryder.
A/N, This is a stand alone story, but if you want I have another one called "Trained by a Rainbow" that is this same story, but during the ten year time skip. I don't plan on finishing it yet but it's there. Have fun if you would do me the honor of reading my story
