COMPLETE - This is a small interlude between book 1, Mistress of Beasts, and book 2 (title TBA). It picks up after the events of the Epilogue of MoB describing in more detail what happened during the Desert Incident. For those of you who read MoB you might recall one small comment Threa made that she was trying to forget the Desert Incident; no chance, darling. This short story also sets the stage for the beginning of book 2 which I am aiming to publish on or around December 15 (the Godscouple willing, of course).
