Halloween horror story

A woman works as an accountant and has a pretty good, yet boring, job. It pays well enough for her to have a fancy house. But one day, when she comes home from a long week of work, she finds her door wide open. Quite a few strange things occur, and at first she thinks nothing of them. But they start getting harder and harder to explain.

This is not based on true events. I just got the idea a couple weeks ago when at the store and a fridge door was left open. And a light in my car was left on by accident as well. And well, come on, it's October. What do you expect me to do?
