Born in rural South Africa and under the strict protection of her apathetic father, Isla Rogherton was born to be a tool, summoned by the ancient blood ties that bound her and her descendants to a place that does not exist anywhere in the world.
There was never a time in Isla Rogherton's life that she did not know that the world that she was born into is not the only world that exists in the universe. Nothing is as it seems. Not the earth, not the sky, and certainly not who we think we are and she was going to give up twenty years of her life, her youth to this unbelievable cause.
