She works at a coffee shop on campus to help pay for her tuition, since she told her parents she would do it on her own. human AU where both their lesbian and bi panic catch up to them. Luz also isn't lactose intolerant. contains alcoholic beverages, smoking, and cursing. And that maybe the hate they've held for each other all those years had come from misunderstandings. Ones they couldn't fix before it had grown all too late. "You know what they say don't you?" She inquired as I slipped my hand into her offered one. "And what is it that they say?" I raised a brow and a glint of emotion flashed in her eyes. "Keep your friends close," she said before gripping my hand in hers, "and your enemies closer."
