Everyone has a guardian angel, except you. You have a guardian demon. He deals with things in a much more violent fashion, but much more effective.
Aideen is a normal teenage girl, actually never mind, she's anything BUT a normal teenage girl. 
When you turn 13 all children are named with a guardian angel and that guardian angel will always be there to protect you, accept on Aideen's birthday when she goes to meet her assigned guardian she's met with a surprise that no one saw coming.
In 2006 Marissa and Stephen Cross had a daughter that they named Aideen, Little Fire, and she grew up an outcast. She gets even more to be an outcast at age 13 when she doesn't exactly get a guardian angel like everyone else her age, but the teasing doesn't last very long. Will she ever meet someone else like her?
