The new galactic world power called Earth Republic Army, lead by the United States government on planet Earth, has lost thousands in the struggle for peace in a new galaxy full of the unknown. Only by making treaties and allies among some of the other civilizations have the ERA been successful in the war. Now, with victory already won, a new problem arrives. A planet, new to the ERA, has become dark. Fearing the least, a small rescue squad was sent to help the single base reconnect to HQ. But after a few weeks, still not even a single word or signal from that isolated planet. Fearing that sending the army would be too embarrassing, the president sends a group of special forces to the planet to find out what is going on. Not even this group of highly trained men, who fought the front-lines of the war, are prepared for what they find when they reach the single island on the planet called GARDEN.

The Abyss of Time
Twenty years after the end of the Cyborg War, the last cyborgs try to hijack a starship on its way to terraform an alien world. They want the new colony to be a cyborg colony in which they will rebuild their strength and practice their way of life. During the fighting, though, the starship is damaged, so that instead of travelling light years across space it ends up a billion years in the future, alongside a planet Earth that is near the end of its life. The cyborgs, momentarily defeated, leave the ship in a captured landing craft and go down to the planet, but before they go they sabotage the ship so that it is no longer able to support life. The crew have no choice but to follow them down to the planet where they have to fight not just the cyborgs but also forms of life a billion years more evolved than humans. Creatures that have grown tough and hardy in an attempt to cope with the increasingly harsh conditions that prevail there. One of the ships of the free planets goes to a newly discovered, backward planet. It is inhabited by humans, but communication with other planets has long been lost, and the people have slipped into a feudal-slave system. The scientists on the ship can't directly show their presence because of the rules and decide to turn some crew members into gods so they can collect gold. But first, the scientists decide to organize a rebellion on the planet. The godlike have to face many difficulties.
