Effie waved her hand around the bowl, feeling every peice of paper to see which one she liked best before taking her pick of the litter and gliding back to the microphone as if it was nothing, but to her, to him, to them, it was everything.
"Peeta Mellark."
He wanted to run right then, run into Milenas arms and take her and Lia where nothing bad could ever happen. But instead he found his legs taking him up to the stage. His mind was gone, his body had gone into auto pilot and every second of his future with Milena and Lia disappeared before him.
