After years of being tortured by her mother and father Maeve Waters is finally set free from them. Instead of drowning in her own pain and past, Maeve covers it, she shows no feeling or emotion, afraid of commitment and friendship. And going to her first real school she becomes respected because of her careless and 'open' personality. But when the past of her mother and father comes back to haunt her, she just wants to run, but those that consider her a friend won't let her leave.
