During an attack on U.A., Hizashi gets hit with an unknown quirk that causes his own quirk to become unstable and work against him. Without knowing how the quirk works or how long it will affect him, he is stuck in limbo battling his own abilities all the while attempting to hide the fact that he was affected by the attack from his peers. His observant best friend Shota, however, quickly catches on as the effects become worse and worse.
