Emperor is a snarky squid who most don't like to be friends with. He's never been to fond of people who are over excited about battles or even hanging out with friends. He especially didn't like the smaller, Shorter, Weaker Inkling or octolings taking away his spot light.
So why is this Short, inkling boy somehow getting his attention?, and why is he so cod damn annoyed and curious about him?
Y/n Started becoming a fan favorite amongst the sniper community in the square, Being trained under the famous Marie from the squid sisters, Even beating team purples Pro-sniper Skull!
Emperor didn't know if he wanted to knock him down a few, If by a few means a tone, Pegs or Train him to be something amazing?
Why is this all so confusing??
The following is a Non-profit Fanfiction
Splatoon belongs to Hasashi Nogami, and Nintendo, and the manga belongs to Sankichi Hinodeya and CoroCoro Comics

The Grudge Disease *NEWLY UPDATED (2026)*
This is a sequel to "The Grudge"! It is recommended that you read that story first for added context. It's not just Aloha acting weird anymore, it's everyone. Update: I completely re-wrote chapters 6-7 (yes, how unfortunate) recently by myself. All other chapters have had extra things added overall and small mistakes corrected. There is in fact a third story in the works, partially up if you'd like more! (It's called the "Grudge Disorder". It's a work in progress.) DISCLAIMER: This is a fanfiction of the Splatoon Coro Coro manga by Sankichi Hinodeya. I do not encourage the violent actions in this story. There is swearing, violence, gore, suicide mentions, and minor head canons. This is not a ship story. Some events may be sensitive to some readers. Seriously it gets intense. I've gotten comments calling this a physiological horror. SPOILERS: In case you were curious, the concept of the diseased clones was made before the Shadow Clones were first revealed. They were not inspired by the Shadow Clones. (But honestly Goggles's sad clone is more opposite than his actual Shadow Clone.) Cover art created by the second writer. Second writer: @enperryart wrote as Rider, Stealth Goggles, School Uniform, Gloves, Emperor, Squidkid Jr, N-Pacer, Squinja, Inkfall, Mask, Designer Headphones, School Asymmetry, and other minor individuals in the Square. @PickledPlun wrote as Goggles, Aloha, Specs, Headphones, Bobble Hat, Snorkel, Octoglasses, Straw, Bamboo Hat, Skull, Aviators, Prinz, Full Moon Glasses, Jersey, Straps, Clip-ons, Half-Rimz, Army, the Iromaki Rangers, Tennis Headband, School Short, School Long, School Bun, Clams Facemask, Knit Hat, Hockey, Hachi, Nana, Afro, Pony, Laceless, Backwards, Jungle Hat, Beanie, Cleats, and parts of those listed above. Setting and location descriptions vary between writers.Complete
Splatoon x Male Reader
You are just an average inkling in Inkopolis Square, when you notice a strange person who changes your life. This story begins in Splatoon 2, but I will mark in the chapter list when the story jumps to Splatoon 3 for those of you who want to jump straight to that point instead. All rights for the characters and bits of story go to Nintendo. I also don't own any of the pictures in this, unless specified other wise. Cover photo by Yuqoi on Deviantart. If I mess something up, please tell me.
Into the Light (a Splatoon fanfiction)
What would you do when you have nearly lost your family, your home...everything that you had cherished? You take matters into your own hands and deliver the hand of vengeance on your enemies who dare to threaten everyone's future. Once more, a story will shape the destiny of the universe as we dive Into the Light. Warning: The following story contains content suitable only for mature audiences. Viewer discretion is advised. This story, as a whole, is meant to be a reimagined version of the original Into the Light that I wrote 3.5 years ago. There will be changes to what I wrote in the original book, but I will be expanding the story significantly and providing more insight into the lore as a whole. Please don't get too mad that this is not the same Into the Light you knew and loved. I hope you enjoy the story. Let's get started! Expanded story inspired by High School DxD, Fairy Tail, Persona 5, Final Fantasy, Warhammer 40k, and other sources Splatoon is owned by Nintendo, Hisashi Nogami, and Shintaro Sato Splatoon Manga is owned by Sankichi Hinodeya, CoroCoro Comics, and VIZ Media and is officially branded by Nintendo High School DxD is owned by Ichiei Ishibumi, Miyama-Zero, Fujimi Shobo, Passione, and Crunchyroll![Male! Male! Agents 3,4,&8 x Inkling!Reader [DISCONTINUED]
Edit of Feb 14, 2023 This book is DISCONTINUED. It was taken down around 2019? 2020 due to friends and family finding it. I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! Reader is female in this book! (Sorry to you guys...i might make a gender bend? Idk) THIS IS A STORY! YES A STORY!! Yaaay!~ Anyway uh Y/n = Your name Blah blah blah... Y/n isn't like most inklings. She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer? What happens when she wanders into both paths and ends up in deeper ink than she intended to? Read the book to find out duh.... XDComplete
Splatoon Manga Oneshots
This is a oneshot book of the many adventures of the Splatoon Manga characters. A/N - I do not own Splatoon or any characters mentioned in this book as they belong to Nintendo and Coroika. I do not own the cover art, I cannot find the creator.
Splatoon Manga - Canon Lightroad
I got Olive Waffles's permission to post this, and LightRoad is her idea. Despite the fact it is called "Canon" LightRoad, it is not actually what happened. Mysticoral, the one who created this, wanted to make LightRoad "Canon" by swapping out Prince and Emperor with Vintage and Skull. - Edit 8-2-20: thank you for 1k views! Edit 9-8-22: I probably should've stated this earlier, but we no longer associate with Mysticoral. ALSO this fic is dated and kinda cringy. - This is a collaboration on remaking of LightRoad on a google document. I mostly worked with grammar, spelling, and the way some characters acted, someone else also helped with words and vocabulary, someone did Vintage's character and swear words, so on, so on. This story has changed a LOT since you may have seen it, and I'd probably recommend ages 17+ for the sake of swearing and violence being used in the story. It is an alternate universe. However, in case you have NOT read LightRoad before: When the squidbeak are sent to a famous city for a final exam, they are overjoyed about the fun they'll have. Little do they know however, an organization plans on giving the city a foul fate. Will they be able to stop these villains in time? What secrets await in this new location?Complete
