Scientists created a chip that's placed in the brain, to search your memories, dreams, and even your thoughts. Nothing is secret in this community. Privacy is against the law and secrets aren't allowed to be kept. Privacy and secrets is trouble in everyone's lives. No one owes the world as much as the one who searches for answers.
Becca Goodlead is a 14 year old girl who can't think about anything else than the society she grows up in. One day her old friend Danie shows up at her window to show her something, which is one secret that's hard to keep. Danie, a boy who wants nothing more than to break the rules the government has created and to make a life for himself.
What happens when Becca learns that keeping some secrets are safe? Until the one who realizes the secrets that do exist are worse than the ones she's tattles on. That rules are meant to be followed and as they say, "Keeping secrets are harder and more dangerous than the chip."

Life As We Know It
After the War annihilated most of humanity, the government made a mandatory microchip for each citizen of the Association of America. This microchip sends you a...notification when you meet the person you are destined to be with for the rest of your life. The whole objective behind this chip was to repopulate the earth. It became law to have at least three children, at least one must be a girl. When the law was put into affect, all current citizens were required to get it and each newborn was implanted with it within the first minutes of their life. For 70 years, this process has worked flawlessly. Wendy Hunter received this chip at birth, along with the rest of the population. {This is not a fanfiction ^^;} [Also, ⚠️TRIGGER WARNING⚠️] Raven is a 15 year old girl with some family issues. Well, more like issues in general. She just can't seem to catch a breather from her parents' fighting and yelling and then involve her, which was annoying. She wanted to get out of there, but living on her own was impossible considering her age, so she moves to her favourite family member, her uncle: Moji. Though he lived in a house with 17, 20, 22, 23 and 27 year olds, him being 27 as well, she was welcomed. He lived in another city, not too far though, but Raven didn't forget about her other life that nobody should get involved with. Her uncle knew about it...but he didn't say anything.
