"What is it that scares you the most?"

"Losing someone I love."
I didn't take too long to answer. I have lost so much in the blink of an eye; the very idea of losing anything else shakes my soul to the core. This fear doesn't creep in all of a sudden. You don't inherit it from birth. It's a fear which insinuates only when you face it. You have to lose someone you deeply love to truly comprehend what this fear is all about.

Once you do, there is no escape from this paranoia.

The story follows the life of a girl from Tennessee, Hayley Brookes. Socially awkward, recluse and introspective- she was a true wallflower. She was happy in her little world- a world of Van Goghs, Jane Austens and Brontes; until the day she met a boy she never dreamt of falling in love with. The boy who changed her life, and not just in a good way.
