"Chilly air swept over Jesna's skin as she bolted upright in bed. Her nightshirt was stuck to her chest and arms despite the outside temperature. Images raced through her mind and pushing her palms into her eyes she willed them to dissipate. A man with ginger hair was laughing, his back turned toward her. He looked at someone next to him and then in a second a flash of bluish green lit around him. The man fell backward and another man screamed. Tears burned around her eyes."
"The door to her room opened and footsteps rushed toward her bed. An arm came around her shoulders and her head was buried into Pippa's chest. Letting out a deep sigh Jesna let the tears in her eyes fall freely as her aunt shushed softly. "It's alright love, it's alright. Remember it's not real, they're just dreams. You're here, you're okay. It's not real." Jesna knew correcting her was useless but in her mind she almost sighed, "They're not real YET."
**This is a SLOW BURN romance and eventually there will be smut but I will warn you before hand ❤
