Lost Home

Crystal Martian is not new to loss. She has lost everything before and risks losing it all again if she isn't careful. That's why she has chosen to go mute. You can't spill any secrets if you can't speak right? She is sent to a rural countryside in order to try and keep her secrets from leaking into any that could possibly give her away but what happens when she finds out that the countryside isn't as isolating as she expected? Will she let people in or will she stay quiet and not let anyone in?

Jace Harlem has seen a lot in his life. From the loss of his father in a car crash two years ago to his mother working endless shifts at their small-town hospital just to keep the home they built together to stay a float. The only thing that should be on his mind is winning the state championship in football so that he can get a full ride to his dream college. So what happens when he meets Crystal who although mute shows more kindness in her pinky finger than some of the girls he has known all his life? Is this just a last chance for a college romance or is there something between them?
