Highest Rankings - #1 in gun, #2 in jealousy, #7 in innocent, #10 in mafia #12 in love --- She cringed as she spotted the bus a good 20 meters away from her, she would have to run in the pelting rain. As she inhaled a breath to hold as she ran, she turned abruptly as she heard a loud groan. Turning to her right she spotted a giant, lumbering figure stumbling towards her. Biting her lip nervously, she threw a glance at the bus, before facing the injured man, it was getting dark so she could not see his features well, the street lamp shining on his back. From what she could see, the giant man was gripping his shoulder, there seemed to be no blood. Going against her better judgement, she watchfully approached him, placing her hands in the air to show that she meant no harm. She surprised herself with this action, she should've left, she should've just gotten on that bus and never looked back, but there was something about him, something that pulled the innocent girl towards the menacing man. A pull she couldn't deny. - Marcello, King of the Mafia, claims a bright, innocent girl, a stark contrast to his dark, tainted self. But you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. She was born to be the Queen. --- Editing - the chapters that have the word 'chapter' on it, haven't been edited.
