But what happens when she becomes a little to fixated on that path? Or worse when that path gets taken from her.
A story about belonging, surviving and how help can come from the least likely place.

Ever since she was a little toddler, life has never been easy. She can't remember the last time she hadn't run away from being fostered. She never had a stable home or a stable family. She never really liked staying in one place too long but the one thing that stayed the same was the feeling of loneliness and abandonment. She build her walls sky high, with only the chosen few able to slip past. But even they couldn't go too far. She was always known as the 'Silent Girl' the one who no one goes near unless they wanted to go missing. People at her school believe she's a part of the most dangerous gangs The Vipers. They're not far from the truth. What happens when she learns of her unknown family? The same as her, They all aren't innocent and have secrets of their own they're purposely hiding.Complete
Hope
Kate was used to dealing with unfair consequences. Having a less than ideal home life and no one else to support her, she had learned to deal with things on her own. She had learned not to feel and especially not to hope. So when someone new comes into her life Kate does the best thing she can think of, she shuts them out. But, after a series of events in the course of one day, they are thrown back together, and Kate is given the chance to explain herself. Explain why she was so guarded and why she had closed herself off in the first place. And maybe along the way Kate learns that things aren't always so bad.
