"You already did, you were just in denial all these days, Axel " I slowly traced my eyes over his features , trying to memorize every little detail,the hint of blue in his eyes dangling at the corner, crinkled skin at the edges, the sharp jaw, brows furrowed and the pale rough lips parted enough to let him the oxygen to keep him alive.

"I know... I just thought maybe once... " I cut him off by giving in to the temptation, leaning closer pressing my lips to his, relishing the last moments with him. He sucks in sharply at the contact, I didn't give him a moment to protest taking my time to enjoy the taste of him. Because once, I step out of this door, I will no longer be associated with him. As much as it hurts, it will be the best for us.
"Is this it? " He whispers, eyes closed, waiting for the inevitable answer.
"Yes," I breathe out.
"Goodbye," I turn around pulling myself physically and emotionally away from him.
