After a drunk night out Neo is left to wonder about the *mysterious cut on his lip*, as Ai'Pond put it, something he hadn't deemed worth worry over until everybody suddenly started to be interested- *ridiculously so*- to the point Neo himself grew self-conscious of it. 

All he remembers is how his hero complex got him flying across the bar counter and woke up the next day sore, concussed, and sporting a splitting hangover. 

Nothing unexplainable. 

But how come the basketball senior string takes notice of him after and seems keen on recruiting him to their circle is on the other hand is not. 

His gang being weirdly tight-lipped about the whole thing doesn't help either. Then there's some dude popped out of nowhere cornering him and going on about some stupid jacket. He'd never heard of a busted lip causing so much drama.
