Xander is a supernatural being, a wendigo, taken captive by the government. The two form an unlikely bond before the watchful, corrupt eyes of the United States government's "Project X." As time passes, Terra realizes that her internship with Project X is more than she signed up for. Her humanity and sanity are compromised as she and Damian, nephew to the director of Project X, dig deeper into the dark intents of the Project. In a fight for their lives and freedom, they learn what it truly means to be human.

Everyone has a story...mine is a little different than yours. 15 years ago i was put into this facility because i showed a sign that I wasn't normal. I've been in this hell hole since i was 2. I'm seventeen now and i feel alone and helpless. Well I did feel like that until my hero broke in with other people and saved me from my torture. Roxi has been through hell and back. She may look normal with killer looks with black hair and blue eyes. But Roxi is far from normal. She has the power of telekinesis, the ability to transport anywhere, telepathy, and she yet to discover more. Her powers are unlimited, but will she ever learn how to control them?

And yet, Amber could be the catalyst to setting a series of events that had been prophesied centuries before, into motion, bringing together three more people – the embodiments of the Emblems – to bring magic back to life. But in this underlying world of Adepts, Demons and secrets within secrets, unlocking their potential will be harder than you think. ~^~^~^~^~^ So, this is my 2014 Nanowrimo story, which is basically an attempt to rewrite Phoenix, where it shall go through major changes in plot, characters as well as effects of my new-and-improved writing style. Unbeknownst to humans, there is an invisible world just beyond their own where Mother Nature and Father Time work together to keep the earth in balance; however, when a prediction is made that a threat to their world will rise, its up to Mother Nature's daughter, Terra, to stop it. Preview: "Aqua!" Terra cried as she ran to her badly injured sister. She quickly fell to her knees and cradled her sister in her arms. Her whole body was littered with burns, cuts, and bruises. It looked as if she had beaten to a pulp. Her eyes began to flutter open. She gasped and tried to get away from Terra until she realized that it was Terra. "Terra?" Aqua croaked out in a hoarse voice. "Yes, Aqua, it's me. Don't worry I will get you out of here." Terra reassured as she began to gently help Aqua sit up. "Terra, where is Aura?" Aqua asked in a raspy voice. Terra paused and thought for a minute. Where was Aura? "I don't know. She actually led me here, but I don't know where she went." Terra admitted as she looked around for Aura. "Does she have anything to with what happened to you?" -This story is not edited so please excuse the mistakes for now. Thank you for reading!!!

She knows getting him back might mean she will die trying, but maybe with the help of the powerful Unknowns that can control the elements, she can do it. However, Giovanna has a few tricks up her sleeve and the Unknowns soon will find out just how powerful she really is. Everything is going just as she wants it to.
