Peter Pan. The boy who never grows up. Well, perhaps because of my sister or perhaps because he simply grew bored, the boy finally did want to grow up. So, I took his place, and traded the name Michael Darling for the eternal life of Peter Pan. The name is the legend, really, more of a symbol than the literal person.

Charlotte Jones is dropped into Neverland, and wisely decides not to bother correcting anyone when they assume she's Charlie, an ordinary abandoned boy from dirty streets and a useless father. As she rises to be the next Peter Pan through the Lost Boys' trials, she learns of the island's savage history, the secrets of its inhabitants, and what it means to never grow up.

Rescue Me To Neverland

10 parts Complete

"Once upon a time, there was a boy who never wanted to grow up." A mother's voice echoed softly into the night. The sky was pitch black and dark but was sprinkled with stars that sparkled in the cold night. Silver clouds sprinkled snow gracefully, just like every word as it rolled off the tongue of the storyteller. A frosty breeze blows through the open window, open since she was a little girl, and into the nursery. "He ran away to a strange yet magical place called Neverland, where he would forever be a boy. There, he was known as Peter Pan, the boy who never grew up." The voice continued. A little girl sits near the window, staring out of it in awe, wonder written on her freckled face. Her crystal eyes sparkled as she unconsciously braided a blue ribbon into a strain of her long light brown hair. "Did he ever come back?" The little girl asked, "Did he ever come back to his family?" "Well, my little darling," The mother chuckled, "Perhaps one day, you can ask him." "No," The girl replied, "If I ever meet Peter Pan, I'll ask him to rescue me to Neverland."
