The story says there are seven Archons in Teyvat, owners of seven Gnoses that link them to the seven thrones in the abode of the gods, Celestia. This immutable tale has been passed down for millennia until it reaches Ajax's ears. He is one among thousands to dream of adventures based on fantastic epics, but he is the only one who can shake the certainties of the universe.

When he discovers that the world is not what he thinks it is, his journey will begin after his rescue by Lumine, who will wait until he makes his choice, and decides his side.

Will he join forces with his sovereign to counter the threat she represents, or will he turn his back on his peers and make a pact with the Princess of the Abyss, the number one enemy of all the countries of Teyvat ?

Fate is underway.

His choice will be the element that will determine the outcome of the decisive battle, and of the multi-century revolt. But he must foremost be vigilant not to sink into the growing darkness of his heart.
