Valentina Benucci is living in her worst year yet. This is possibly her lowest low. She tries to deal with it by listening to music and hustling and bustling through it, but the "Worst Year of Your Life" can never be avoided.
Pls don't be offended by the coarse language used in this book, it isn't meant in a horrible or hurtful way, it's just essential for the character's growth. I pre-apologize for any discomfort and promise that this type of language shouldn't be acceptable in any type of bigoted conversations.

Hello, this story is not good. It was written by a depressed young tween who didn't understand what an abusive relationship is. I'm only keeping it up because it's my only completed book. Take everything a grain of salt. Then she met Dillon he was gorges, tall, strong, and everything Alaska was not. Dillon was a werewolf and next in line for Alpha position of Black Blood Pack. Dillon hates his mate and waiting tell he is old enough to reject her. He dose what he can, ignores her, forgets her, because she is nothing but a pathetic human. Or so she thought... . . . How bad could it be to enlist your female best friend into helping you lie to your Christian family about your new relationship with your male best friend and about your newfound sexuality? Not that bad, right? I've been very depressed and heartbroken so, what better than to create a story out of it? "This is my life" details a protagonist going through her teenage years up until the age of 21. Through love, friendship, grief, and heartbreak, you will get to witness what it's like being a young black girl trying to conquer the world. I hope anyone going through either heartbreak, grief, insecurities, mental health declines are able to read this and know that they're not alone! Life can be so ugly at times, but I promise things always get better. Not your typical romance or teen fiction book! WARNING: If you want something to read that will make you laugh, read on.
