Romance
Elizabeth Lee has never had many friends, and she's alright with that. She enjoys the silence and she is alright with her only friends being her family. But she never talked to the girl directly across her window. The girl she had only seen a few times since her family moved in years ago. She has no desire to get to know her, but the other girl seems to have other ideas about that. Clementine Higgins never knew loneliness. Her family is large, her friends are always around. But recently she finds herself alone more and more often. Perhaps it was her friends spreading rumors about her or the rising tension in her family. So she finds comfort in the girl across from her, who she desperately wants to befriend.

Alison- I gave up the second I found out. My parents were dead and I was being dragged across the state to live with people I hadn't seen in years. My so called "godparents", and their daughter, Calen and her little brother I've never met. Sure- Calen and I got along well when we were 12, but we're 17 now. Things have changed. Calen- Alison. I've missed her since the second she moved away. The circumstances are tragic, but I can't help but feel selfishly sheepish that she's here under my roof now. All I want is to cheer her up, to see that pretty little smile again. My beautiful girl. I will spend every second of every day convincing her of how perfect and worthy she is of love.
