"I don't judge people on their worst mistakes." A phrase Natasha Romanoff could remind everyone she cared about, but never herself. Haunted pasts are a part of everyone's lives in the Avengers Facility. Natasha is not an exception. Eventually, it's bound to creep up on you. Only, the infamous Black Widow didn't realise it would be in the form of a person she'd never met. AU - BASED ON THE YEAR 2018

Natasha Romanoff has been described as many things: a killer, cold, heartless, emotionally unavailable. And she is. But she was not always like that. She has a daughter, or had one. One that died during birth. Or at least that's what she was told. Because of that, she became all of those things. But her world is turned upside down when she finds out that not only is her daughter alive, but she grew up in the Red Room. She will do anything to have her daughter back with her. Will she find her daughter? Will her daughter know who she is and accept her? What will her daughter be like having grown up in the place that teaches their students to hate people like Natasha? "She was the secret her mother lost, and the truth she must now become." Some ages will be altered to fit the storyline better. The writing will get better as the story progresses, I promise! Potential triggers: -Fighting/violence -trauma -eating disorder -self-harm
