**Book 1 in the Luminae Series**
One was raised with anything she could desire at her fingertips- Except the freedom to leave castle grounds.
The other had the freedom to go anywhere he chose- Except he must hide as a hunted fugitive of the crown.
When an attempt on her life by a rebel group fails, Maizie is thrust into training with the new mysterious guard captain by Queen Vita. As love blossoms in court, danger grows around the princess. The rebels aren't ready to give up yet, and Maizie finds herself torn between allowing the tyrant Queen's reign to continue, or turn to the would-be usurper out for her head.
*~*~*
They're coming for me!
She flung out of bed at the thundering of soldiers coming down the halls. They had come in the middle of the night- she thought they would at least allow her to see the sunrise.
No, she trembled, I'm not ready for this! I'm not ready to-
"Princess!" She heard guards burst into her foyer, the only room between the entrance and her bed-chamber.
Maizie looked down at her petite body, garbed in a thin silk nightgown. Weak and without any ability to protect herself. She scoured the room, her eyes landing on the poker hanging beside the fireplace. If she made a running lunge, she might have enough time to grab it. But then she had no idea what to do with a weapon.
At least she would have one.

The Art of Courts and Lies (Book 1 in The Gifted Trilogy)
Ice flooded my veins as the realization of who he was hit me. It must have been evident on my face because the man in front of me let out a dark laugh. "Oh dear, you didn't realize you were talking to a royal, did you darling?" he crooned. Not just any royal. Kesserian Cinis. The recently coronated king and ruler over the Ember Court. I forgot how to breathe, my mind whirring as it tried to figure out how I could have been so stupid as to let this happen. *************************************************** Wren Heatherfield is on the run. Having turned 18, she is now in danger of becoming selected for the Garner, a deadly game in which the six kings who rule over her continent take eighteen non-magical girls and make them fight for their lives. But as she tries to avoid the game by running away with her best friend and her sister, she consequently finds herself doomed to be a competitor in the 246th Garner. But the Garner isn't the only thing capable of killing her. In a castle surrounded by kings with dark powers and girls fighting for their lives, she may find that the politics of royalty can be just as deadly as their games. No one can be trusted in a palace full of monsters and, if Wren has any hopes of survival, she may have to become one herself.Complete
Rebellion
Picked for the WattVamps February Showcase & now a Wattpad Dark Fantasy featured story! The Risen Series - Book 1 Rebellion I've been a cardholding member of the undead for centuries, torn away from the sun by a vampire with no care for human life. From the moment I opened my eyes to the night and had my first craving for blood, my Maker twisted and moulded me into exactly what he wanted; trapping me in his hold. Until one day he let me go. Content to live out eternity as no more than a shadow, I do my best to stay out of trouble. But trouble always had a way of finding me. During a hunt, I run into another vampire doing his best to go unnoticed; one so ancient the air around him reeks of power, and he claims he's just escaped imprisonment from the very council that used me to their own ends. Atanas demands I help him until he regains his strength so he can finish what he started a century ago, but I'm not sure that's all he wants from me. And while I'm no supporter of the council he seeks vengeance against, there are secrets that bind my life to theirs, and I know better than most that disloyalty means death. But in the shadows, a rebellion has been brewing, and I might be more important to both sides than I could ever have imagined.Complete

The Rogue King {18+} (Book 2)
[COMPLETED] I was cursed at such a young age, abandoned by my own wolf and the Moon Goddess for something that wasn't in my control. I don't even think having a mate is in the cards for me... ✨🌘✨ I jumped when the final horn sounded, circling the garden before everyone became silent. They all returned to their seats, my father rising from his chair as I stood from my seat along with the other pups. I struggled to breath as we took our position, standing in the centre away from everyone else. My father offered me a reassuring glance though it did nothing to ease my anxiety, all I had to do now was wait. My eyes widened when the moons blue light shined down on me, illuminating my skin as I stared up at the sky in awe. "We thank the moon goddess for the power of her light..." I dropped my gaze back down, my fathers words surrounding us, "...Shall it bathe you and grant you strength, agility, speed like the wolf..." The pups around me began to moan in pain, capturing my attention as I furrowed my brows. Their features were all contorted by an invisible pain that inflicted them but I felt absolutely nothing. My heart raced when their groans of pain became screams but I- I suddenly drop to the ground, a painful throbbing in my head forcing me to the ground. I grip the sides of my head, screaming. I don't know how to explain it but it felt as though my brain was tearing in two, like my head was cracking open. When the pain stopped, I found myself surrounded by wolves, the shifted pups. Looking down at myself, I only see my body, no paws and no fur. I hadn't shifted... ✨🌕✨ Book 2* 'The Wolven King' is the first book and must be read in order to understand this one. ⚠️ WARNING!! This book is mature and should only be read if you are 18+. There are depictions of violence, mature language, sexual behaviour and sexual abuse.Complete

The Queen and the Quisling
CHRONICLES OF CROWN AND CASUALTY BOOK 1- The princess is her parent's pride and joy. This quality will forever be reflected in her name, which can literally be translated to "King's Victory". Unfortunately, the "Victory" referred to in her name has always winded down to her compliance to everyone's wishes but her own, and, of course, her beauty; seen by everyone as one of the princess' dominant traits. She is the spitting image of her beloved mother, with her long, caramel colored hair that cascades in soft ringlets down to the small of her back and her blue eyes that remind everyone who looks into them of the beautiful ocean her palace sits near, who's frothy waves lap at the warm, golden sand. Yes, the princess is always told her eyes were a blessing given to her by the gods, but she knows that whenever her father looks into them, all he'll see is the woman he once loved who was taken from him too soon, and not, in fact, his beautiful daughter that was so lovingly left behind for him. She knows that because of his grief, she will forever be trapped inside the luxurious walls of the palace she grew up in. So no, she doesn't see her eyes as a blessing. In fact, she sees them as a curse, and she's accepted her fate, never once imagining that it could change. Little did she know, fate is only a suggestion.Complete

"You're playing with fire Safania." "Good thing I don't burn." The last words he spoke before throwing me onto my bed sounded like a threat, but felt more like a promise. "You will." *** Don't get caught. Those are the three words Safania has lived by for the past five years. As a marked woman - easily identified by intricate bronze marks on her back and unpredictable special abilities - she has spent the past five years running from anyone who might exploit those abilities...especially the royal families who tortured marked women to build their empires. Starving, exhausted, and frozen, she collapses by the bank of a river just to wake up in her worst nightmare: the chambers of a prince. Prince Cassius is his father's first choice of his three brothers to ascend to the throne. He's smart, strategic, and stoic, unlike his corrupt and depraved brothers. There's just one problem: he has no interest in any of his proposed marital matches, and the King will only pick someone as his successor who he knows will carry on the family line. But once he meets Safania, he finds himself unable to imagine ruling the kingdom without her by his side. Can he convince her to trust him? *** Warning: this story contains mature and potentially triggering themes including domestic violence and sexual assault. Reader discretion is advised.Complete
