Promises. They're an important aspect in life and in any relationship. If you can trust someone with a promise, you can trust them with anything.

But is that the case for Kimberly Allisons?

She left Phoenix, Arizona about three and a half years ago in the middle of her eighth grade year due to her father's job transfer. And during that time, she had a best friend. Thomas Harris.

They had promised each other something very special once upon a time. They promised that the person they were going to give it up to was each other.

Kimberly kept it.
Thomas didnt.

And he's been lying about it throughout the years that they communicated. Maybe Kimberly should've seen the signs: Thomas, starting in their sophomore year, got better looking and didn't reply as quickly as he used to.

Thomas should've told her. She was an understanding person.

Can they get through the wreckage? Or will their friendship go out with a bang?
