Andy Barber, the widow and lonesome man who has spent way too long wallowing in his own self pity meets Francesca Wheeler, a young woman on the cusp of true independence. When Francesca has no choice but to move in with her estranged father after getting into Harvard Law School, she finds that not all is as bad as she had initially anticipated. Especially not when her new neighbour is Assistant District Attorney Andy.
But with Andy's budding friendship with Francesca's father John, as well as the unmistakable age gap, it seems there are more than just a few complications standing in their way and preventing any spark from intensifying.
