After Alec Lightwood's devastating break up, he and his ex-boyfriend Magnus Bane gets Portaled to London after an attack in his loft in Brooklyn. Under a shady cafe in the streets of London, the pair discuss what to do next and why a certain demon seemed too keen to attack the two of them. But stumbling upon a Time Turner Alec, driven by a dream, twists the lock. Magnus, wide-eyed, lunges forward but it was already too late; they were already zooming back into the past.
What happens when two eras-a world so different yet the same-collide? Will Alec finally glean an insight into Magnus's past, or will the demon that ferociously wants to kill them finally give up?
