Basically Wilbur and Tommy being little shits in the forest. Tommy is part raccoon and Wilbur is a cat hybrid. Also Tommy is 9 and Wilbur is 14 (:
Here's a synopsis for ya:
When Wilbur runs away from home, he meets an unlikely friend. A half child half raccoon named Tommy. He and Tommy are both runaways for different reasons but one thing connected them.. The forest. The forest is where they live and cause mayhem. They get into lots of trouble and they were even separated at one point, but a promise is a promise. "I'll always be right by your side"
There will be some triggers in this story I will put at the beginning of the chapter but as an overview, here's the main ones:
• Bad parenting (I don't think it can really count as abuse but lmk??)
• Bullying
• Mental health issues
• Trauma/flashbacks
[Based off a chapter in my story "Angstyboisinc. " called 'Scrappy Acquaintances']
This will be angst/fluff with a happy ending. This is also going to be one of my first official "book" book so keep that in mind if the pacing is off or there's plot holes 😁

It Started September 14, 2009 | Trans!Wilbur Soot AU
Wilbur is a young, trans masc teen. He is out to his parents, and they fully support him. They've bought him binders, let him cut his hair, and gotten him other things to help him transition. The town they live in though? Not very supportive. When they first noticed Wilbur out in public with his parents, people thought they had adopted, only to find out that he was indeed the young "girl" that happily ran around the small town with the other kids. They weren't too happy. The whole town, although small, is very homophobic and transphobic. Wilbur and his parents are the only people that are part of/support the LGBTQ+ community. On September 14, 2009, on Wilbur's thirteenth birthday, he and his parents happily spend the day together in their small home. However that happy day turned into a not-so-happy night. Two unidentifiable people break into their home, kill Wilbur's parents, and abduct him. All because he's trans. Behavioural Tutor
Tommy was known as the school's 'Bad Boy', the 'Troubled Kid', the 'Problem Child' and in extreme cases, the 'Psycho', all because he was different. No one understands him, until one day when he gets a Behavioural Tutor and a Therapist. He's had them before, but these people seem different. They're willing to listen to him, to learn about him, but in doing so, realise something is off about Tommy. Is he just a cool kid with an attitude, like Techno? Or is there a secret Tommy's tried so hard to hide. One that would explain his behaviour and frequent injuries. One that would make Tommy a victim and not a culprit. So... this got derailed so uhm... it's now a gang book! I have no idea why people like this monstrosity but wooooooo angst! Wilbur was tired of being a hero. He liked to believe that he was a good hero, but being a good hero wasn't enough. It was never enough. Always compared to his twin brother, the golden child of the Minecraft Hero Family. Wilbur lived in Techno's shadow. He hated it so much and he wasn't sure how much more he could take. He wanted to be seen for who he was. He was Wilbur goddamn Minecraft, and he refused to let himself be a side note in someone else's story. Villains had one right; the right to choose a nemesis. A thesis to their anti-thesis. A rival. His subordinates always questioned why he chose Magpie. He never bothered to explain. He had met the hero once, and that was all it took. Tommy had just recently moved homes. The one he left was one full of memories. Not good ones, but not necessarily bad ones, either. He didn't have much to live for at his old home, so he moved in hope of starting over and meeting new people. He had no more family, and his school friends had long moved on from him. In fact, the only number in his contacts was his mum's who was long passed away. Tommy was young (sixteen, to be exact) and he often forgot things. Usually just as simple as forgetting to do the laundry, or forgetting to reply to a notification on his phone that he received three seconds prior. Simple things that didn't matter. This time, though, he forgot to charge his phone before leaving his new, barely furnished apartment. He didn't think much of it. If it died, it died. No biggie, right? He figured he'd be alright for an hour or so without his phone. That is, until he got lost in the large, unfamiliar town that he definitely didn't even slightly know the layout of. He didn't know where he was or how to get back to his apartment, especially without a GPS. And then, when it definitely couldn't get worse, it began to rain. Tommy was soaked. He was cold, hungry. He cut into an alley and sat down against a brick wall, curled up on himself. He sat there for a while, and then heard footsteps. It was three men. The older one crouched down in front of him. "You look awful...Come with us, mate." But Tommy didn't want to.
