"Just remember that it isn't your fault"
"I know. But I-I still feel guilty about it."
Y/n was just another girl from the 1940's. Had two best friends, Steve and James, also called Bucky, and not that many other people. Y/n ran away from her abusive home after she managed to get into the army, (To many peoples surprise and dislike) and met her new friend Peggy. Everything seemed as normal as it could for a woman in war, before everything took an unexpected turn. Before she knew it, y/n was thrown out in an adventure of pain, loss, torture, manipulation and fonduing.
-Please note that in this story, Y/n is a female, as i had a lot of trouble keeping it gendernatrual, and still keeping to the storyline. Besides that, Y/n is bi/pan in this story, so if you'd prefer to avoid that, i do not recommend this, although it is not the main focus of the book-
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."
OR
Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
