In my Au deku does try to ki ll himself but ultimately fails in this
(and no he doesn't become a villain I've seen that like literally everywhere (( I'm especially liking one called 'role of the dice' and 'No Control'  you should check those out)) )
He wakes up in a hospital bed with someone who he doesn't recognise sleeping on a chair next to him.
