In a world much like our own, but old mythological myths are as true as the Sun rising everyday, spirits and demons haunt the woods and ancient gods and deities watch our lives, Akria Waring's parents decided it's time their daughter should go back to her mother's roots to Japan. A stranger to whole different world full of mythology and legends, she quickly learns that Japan is much different to American, especially when it involves a certain individual. Enter Taiyo, an immortal deity cursed by the Sun Goddess Amaterasu to follow the Sun's journey through the surrounding land while guarding the goddess's Munakata from evil, demonic hands. Determined to show the ancient goddess Taiyo has learnt his lesson, the strong willed Akria faces evil spirits and a long journey to find Amaterasu and ask to release her friend. Or will the curse, become the only way to save the thing Akria loves most, but become Taiyo's worst nightmare?
