In this epic of 14-year-old teen Lyle and his friends Faith, Tessa, and Mason, a great horror is nearing. The signs have come: The murder of the Norse god Baldur, a 3 year winter, a great conflict among gods... It could only be Ragnarok. In preparation of this apocalyptic event, Odin himself has hand-picked a small group of young teens from ages 14-16, to be chosen by gods and imbued with their gifts. Each person shall be chosen by a god and given a part of their power based upon their own traits. In addition to this great gift, one random minor god's trait shall also be given, creating a larger pool of powers. These young warriors with their new power must learn to control it at their camp-like training center, and then must begin their quests as demigod-like vikings to attempt to put an end to the great prophesized Ragnarok, in which it is said gods will kill gods and the giant race known as the Jotuns shall be unleashed upon the Earth. In this race against time, our heroes face a great threat to their quest to end the end. Should they fail, all nine worlds shall pay the price...
