Arya is the first child of the Big Three to turn sixteen.
Everyone was expected it to be a turning point, for the world to begin to be thrown into chaos. Instead, everything stayed normal, and that somehow made everything worse.
Five months have passed since the last quest, four months since the oldest daughter of Poseidon turned sixteen, four months since the torture started.
Everyone is one edge. The camp that Arya calls home is being transformed before her eyes to get ready for the upcoming war, the gods start putting their differences aside in order to see the bigger picture. All eyes are on Arya now that she has accepted her fate, waiting, watching for a final decision.
Still dealing with the aftermath of the battle that took place on the Mountain of Despair, and the knowledge that this current stalemate of fighting will come to a crushing end once she makes her call, Arya knows the time for fun and games is long gone.
She knows her time is running out, she can't keep holding on any longer.
A decision has to be made.
