Donahue Haikoktiu has given up on the gods since he was eight years old. He's become an atheist because of the abusive and dark past he's grown up with and the unanswered questions that he's asked the gods about his origins as a person. To him, miracles would exist if the gods were real, and his prayers and questions would be answered. He's become so used to believing that the gods are fake and being the only atheist in his community that when he is told by a classmate that he is a birth child of the gods, he finds his life suddenly being flipped upside down and full of shock and dreaded surprises that he starts to feel like his life is a joke. On top of that, he is also expected to awaken and embrace the fact that he is a god, as well as a god who has a secret: He is also a part-demon who is expected to awaken as such. When he finds out that he is the top student among his mentor's class solely because of shared blood, he fears the worst. Especially when it's revealed that his birth itself along with his family's past is a curse. A curse to the gods and the other side of his blood that is sure to cause another era of war and chaos. Will Donahue be able to hone his bloodline and his natural-born skills, or will he fail to do so in time, failing the gods and leading to their deaths, and the demise of the human race and fellow gods-in-training?
