Self-Inflicted

Stella who is dealing with the pressures of life finally decides she has had enough and decides to create a new life for herself. At first, it all goes seemingly well. Her family adores her new outlook on life and it seems that her friends and peers are all in adoration of her. But then troubles hit her family and she realizes that her return home might serve more problems than it's worth. It seems to keep up appearances, keeping those close in the loop, and telling lie after lie gets exhausting after a while. There's only one who finds the cracks in Miss Perfect: a handsome, rough around the edges, and equally mysterious man named Darren. She's drawn to him, for reasons unknown. Will she succumb to her new problems? Or will she look to escape these too?
