The Community is all Tabby has ever known. It's what protects her, and the people around her. It is flawed, but it's safe from the rest of the world. It's that fact that keeps the people quiet and nonobjective when the Community Board steals away their children to mutate them into monsters. The savior is the predator, and Tabby is the prey.
It's the Community that turns her into a mutant, a sick twist-off of an angel. She is given wings, and thrown out of her home when she's deemed a failure.
Tabby wants revenge. And she's not afraid to fight for it.

I am a doctor with wings, one who doesn't belong here. I know, stereotypical. But it's true. Still confused? I used to be an angel. I caused the apocalypse of the planet inhabited by the very creatures I was supposed to help. It was the only way to help them, really. But that's a different story for a different day. Now, the surviving humans have emerged from the rubble, soaking in the damage left over from my destructive actions. What are they supposed to do about that? Sarina Earth is past saving, but to save the human race, six ships leave the planet to start over. When one of the ships is forced to do an emergency landing on a planet triple Earth's size, we are taken hostage in a Giant's castle and then sold. Although they feed us, I'm not fooled. Everything about them is designed to kill, so it's only a matter of time. Even if I have to do it on my own, I will find my way back to the ship that brought us here and leave this planet. Tarvik Getting called into an emergency meeting isn't how I would choose to spend the afternoon, but as Commander, I'm obligated to attend. Small beings landed on our planet, and per my king's orders- We're keeping them. My people are excited to have new pet types- cute ones at that- but I suspect they're capable of more than my king believes.

After being convicted of a murder she didnt commit alita is left stranded on the hostile world filled with carnivorous plants, ruthless criminals, hostile natives, and bloodthirsty monsters. She comes to realize the world isnt as unforgiving and cold as it seems. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive. The only issue being is the last thing he wants is a pathetic, weak human girl following him around. (Limited time only read!)
