This short story is about a girl who is in a dysfunctional family, and she wonders why God chose to place her in this family. In her mind, everybody's families are normal except hers. The adults aren't equipped to take care of her and her sister, so they are forced to take care of themselves. They form a special bond because they have to rely on each other. She shares family secrets on how to succeed in spite of a unique family situation.
