S.H.I.E.L.D. is not what it seems. It was long ago corrupted, though no one knew.

Two assassins emerge, and one knows them both. Can he save them or will they be lost in the blank, dark void?

A list of Accords is drafted due to the dangers of heroes. Two are blamed for something they didn't do, resulting in more chaos than anyone thought possible.

"Sometimes before it gets better, the darkness gets bigger. The person that you'd take a bullet for is behind the trigger."

Part I: Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Part II: Captain America: Civil War

Despite their best efforts to regain the trust of the world, the Avengers are still met with criticism. With every move they make under close scrutiny, they find themselves treading lightly to avoid more incidents akin to Ultron and the tragedy of Sokovia. When a new team of superheroes is entangled in disaster and an Avengers mission goes wrong, the government steps in with new legislation that would force all superheroes to register, and be overseen, by the government. Eager to right the wrongs of his past, Tony Stark is quick to join the government's efforts, believing that oversight will ensure that more disasters do not happen at the hands of the Avengers or any other super-powered individuals. In opposition of this is Steve Rogers, who believes that government oversight would enable politicians to decide who the villains are, forcing superheroes to become nothing more than political pawns. When the King of Wakanda is assassinated and Steve's old friend turned enemy, Winter Soldier, is implicated things become even more complicated. Forced to choose a side in a civil war, Dean Allen can't stop thinking about a far greater threat that lurks. Please note that this is an installment in an ongoing series. Book 2 of the Golden Sunshine series. "Hey. Hey let me help." I said as I removed her hand and jacket. I close my eyes trying to get the bullet out slowly. "Just get it out." She grits and I nodded before pulling it out. I put a reality block on the shoulder to stop the bleeding and numb the pain a little. "Stay down." I said to her as I stood up just to see the soldier throw Steve over a car. "I mean it." I said to Nat as I jumped over the car running towards them. I hit the soldier behind his leg making him stumble before I adapted the classic black widow move, pinning him between my thigh and hitting his head. I didn't want to hurt him, I just wanted to incapacitate him for now. I keep hitting as he stands up, slamming me down on a vehicle, his cold metal arm squeezing my neck. What is it with bad guys and my neck? I tightened my thigh around him as I started to splutter, my hand going to his hand. My fingers find an open spot on the ridge of his arm and I send a little zap of energy through it and he flinched, taking his hand away. I kicked him in the head and he stumbles away. He shakes his head before coming for me again but Steve attacks him from behind, giving me time to catch my breath. Steve blocks the guy's punches, before flipping him over, his mask fall off. He stills, obviously pissed as I gulp before tensing up. He turns to us and my steps falter. "Bucky...?" Steve asks in shock. "Who the hell is Bucky?" ▪️▪️▪️ Follow Lisa Stark's story as she finds new friends and family and looses some. She soon realizes the past she remembers might not be what it seems.
