Motivation. For anything related to him becoming a hero, Kimura Kazue has none. Zip, zilch, not an ounce.
Everyone around him expects him to follow in his father's footsteps. Go to the top hero school in Japan. Join his father's agency to work his way up, then branch off and become even more successful.
If he could have his way, Kazue would rather just read manga and tinker around with electronics half the day, then make sure the heroes of the future weren't going to be complete morons.
Unfortunately for him, well... if he wants to make that future a reality, he first has to endure Yuei High's heroics course.
Parent permission slips are a pain in the ass.

Izuku Midoriya is not alone, he has what he calls brothers but there really just other personalities. Izuku suffers from MPD because of all the bullying Kachan did. Now there's four of them with Shai, Tanoshi and Kurutta being the personalities. They grew up being bullied for there disorder, but he had enough in middle school sighing up for UA. He wanted to become a hero and protect kids like him, kids that are different and can't help them selfs. The only people who know his secret is his mom and Kachan. Izuku needs this to be a secret for if he starts getting bullied he can't focus on becoming a hero. Things can happen behind the scenes that no one notices. Bad things that is. Motivation (Rewrite)
It's safe to say that becoming a hero is one of the last things Kimura Kazue would want to do with his life, right at the bottom of the list with having a normal sleep schedule and not drinking coffee. One hero in the family is more than enough, especially considering his father is quite literally ranked seventh in the entirety of Japan. Unfortunately for Kazue, not one person seems to share his sentiment for wanting a quiet desk job and to be left alone. Including his father, whose signature is required on Kazue's high school applications. Not exactly an ideal situation...

When U.A. High opened its doors for the first time, everyone wanted to go there. With the entire staff being made of top heroes, both retired ones and ones still working, it was basically guaranteed going there meant becoming a top hero. It's also a place that could attract a lot of villains. The only person that wasn't interested in it was me. I know in today's society, it was almost unheard of to not want to be a hero.
