The True Heir of Slytherin

Gaunt. A name that can be tracked back to one of Hogwarts' founding members: Salazar Slytherin. But also a name that was all but extinct to all who knew of it, thanks to years of inbreeding within the family and the Pureblood ideology. However, one long since disowned member of the Gaunt family yet lives, one who had long since abandoned that name for her Husbands. She had a daughter, Meredith who was born around the same time as Tom Riddle and even attended Hogwarts at the same time as Tom. Though neither knew, who the other really was. Years later, she would have a child of her own with her husband Cygnus Black II. Angelus Black. Though she did have three step daughters from Cygnus' previous marriage, all of whom she loved just as much as her baby boy, Narcissa, Andromeda and Bellatrix Black. Though the focus of our story will be their younger step brother Angelus Black. The stage was set, for another Black to enter Hogwarts, and to change destiny forever.
