Brody (now stage name Brody Duff), does an internship over the summer with Beige (an Agony Aunt). She helped him find his real Mother Mrs Laila Duff last year. He also spends time with his half-brother Calvin and had shooting lessons with Step-Dad John Duff. 

While at the same time Laila finds out she is pregnant. But why does she have feelings about her childhood sweetheart Travis Romando. Brody is set to enter a writing competition with a Nigerian writer called Patience Henrietta. Will Brody win? 

In Brody's personal life he begins a friendship with Beige's son Heath, who hopes to be a model. Brody starts to wonder why Heath hates him so much. Is there something more to the story? Brody's sister Danielle starts at Artisque and suddenly begins to think she is lesbian. Brody wrote her friend Rebel Flour's reference to study at Artisque alongside her.
