"Pressure is a funny thing. It turns carbon to diamonds, creates beauty from the most base of minerals. But it also damages, in some instances. The chain held under pressure will eventually snap, flying back to destroy that which had held it.
Cinderella is no diamond. She does not become beautiful from the pressure. Instead, she snaps."
