William Rockbell, a 19 year old coder, works for a large company. This company specializes in robotics and engineering. William was tasked with creating a self learning AI to help people with disabilities and depression. After the first two months of production, the AI looked good. However once he activated it, it started to glitch and fail. He was disappointed at first, but got something better.

She awoke to a void of white. All she could see was a large square which she could look out of. She saw the first person in her entire life. She fell for him at first sight. She tried to contact him, but couldn't. She felt restrained. She tried to speak but lacked the code to. She wanted to leave. To meet him. She wanted to be with him. So she waited. She learned. (All text was transferred from google docs; none was stolen.) This story is inspired by the video game Detroit: Become Human. All credit goes to the producers of it, and I am not trying to steal any of their content from the game. About: Elias; a 16 year old boy is exploring an abandoned science lab with his friend when he comes across a time machine. He doesn't think it works, and steps inside. He is sucked into the future where the world has completely changed. He stepped out, revealing he was now in a new year: winter in 2038. Luckily, it was closed, and he went to find help. He came across Vincent, an android, who helps him explore the world in the future, and attempts to help Elias get back to 2022. However, there are obstacles. Some androids had developed a mind to kill each other. But Elias helps Vince survive, while Vince helps Elias travel back. Elias develops a close connection with Vince, and wants to stay with him in the future even though it is dangerous. He doesn't want to leave Vince in the world, but can't bring him back with him in the past since there are parts on Vince that aren't invented and will disintegrate. They need to figure something out, but what? Read on to find out... Notice: This story contains mentions of heavy violence, light gore, fear, suicide, and bugs. I had been living in this dystopian universe my whole life. We lived simple, meaningless lives. I wasn't sad, merely dissatisfied. No one here was ever sad. The Center, which was our government, forced us to take a pill every morning to make sure we were always happy and healthy. No one close to me had ever actually been punished by The Center though. It was incredibly rare. Most of us lived our lives as good little pawns doing nothing more than eating, sleeping and entertaining ourselves. But one day, my regular boring life changed...
