Everyone has their secrets in life. Some are harmless and some can scar a person for life if ever found out. For 12 year old, Evangeline, having secrets can be the most life threatening thing ever. She is a demonic angel with no wings, since she hasn't matured yet. When Lucifer, the devil shoves Evangeline, into the portal of Earth, she is only guided a single phrase he said to her.
"When the clock strikes 12..."
Struggling to understand what it means and why she has been sent to the world of the humans (or the world of New York City for that matter), she meets, Mark, a 30 year old insurance manager who, secretly knows a lot about angels and, unexpectedly takes her in.
A year goes by and Evangeline is now 13 years old, living a quiet life with Mark, her guardian. But Lucifer is still wanting her back to his kingdom, not for the sake of his demons that thrive within it but for another reason. A rather deadly reason....

Well, Lucifer's world was no longer Earth, it was no longer the free will, the chicks and the booze it offered, no.
