Clay and George used to be best friends, but after something happened, they break apart and stop seeing each other. George misses Clay each day and never told him the reason why he left. He tries to do anything to get closer to Clay again, but is too scared to bring up the past.

Clay's new "friends" constantly push him into dares he doesn't want to do. To not be as powerless as he is at home, he listens to them against his will. When one dare brings him closer to George, the boy he misses so much, he does anything to become his friend again.

Through positive messages under George's hated YouTube videos, Clay tries to make the boy smile and go back to being his best friend like the old times they both miss.

Clay was born too early which makes him struggle a lot. His daily battle with multiple disabilities doesn't make his life easy and after also being bullied, even by his own brother, he shuts down around almost everyone and develops selective mutism. Instead of talking, he starts writing to the person he wants to become friends with. George who struggles with ADHD and a mood disorder suddenly receives notes in his locker each day from an unknown person. The notes cheer him up each time and at the same time he starts becoming closer to the quiet and shy Clay. When George also becomes friends with Clay's brother, he has to choose between either him, who hates Clay, or choose for the sweet Clay. But does he fall for the manipulative behaviour of Clay's brother or does he stay loyal to Clay? Clay loves taking care of George and the two finally seem to be able to talk about their hidden pain and feelings, but unfortunately, that doesn't solve the problems they go through...
