The Warrior Princess

Princess Fauna of Scotland, last daughter of the king and queen of Scotland. Her only wish is to become a warrior like her brothers and sister but her parents are not willing to hear anything that concerns that, all they care about is her future as a princess, so she does what no normal child or even a normal princess would think of doing. She takes her future into her hands, disguised; she goes into the warrior camp without the knowledge of the king and queen.

Dresses, tiaras, high heeled shoes, that's all for a princess, and oh, I forgot, being perfect also. I am not like the rest princesses who fancy royal parties and late afternoon tea, I admit I'm not a perfect princess, but I'm okay. I prefer archery, martial arts, sword fighting, horse-riding, things extremely different from what a princess should do and what a princess should like. I hate parties, I'm not weird, it's just my kind of person. Warriors Academy would have been the right place for me along with my siblings but those are my thoughts and they are not supposed to be heard, so I keep on wondering what my life would turn out to be.

A girl in a white veil, the forest calls her to itself. She will be lost in it forever. A quiet voice, a whisper leads his bride far away. Somewhere there stands an old castle, a cursed prince dwells within its walls. When the full moon rises in the night sky, the monster awakens. The white veil of the bride turns crimson. A story as old as time. Nereyeny ran towards the forest as if her life was at stake. She hesitated for a moment before crossing the line of no return. She looked back at the place where she had grown up, lived, and was supposed to die and lie in the ground there forever. All her life layed there, everything except the one thing she longed for the most. Freedom. "Nereyeny!" They were already looking for her. She couldn't afford to hesitate any longer. She turned on her heel and stepped into the darkness. She knew that no one would dare to chase her there. Only a fool. People were afraid of the cursed forest. Eyes watching your every step. Whispers leading you into the void. Creatures from the depths of hell itself. They say dark forces dwell there, no one who goes in will ever come out. And Nereyeny was proof that it was all a lie, spending almost every day there, running under the treetops like a wild wolf. She didn't believe those tales. About the full moon. About the proud prince. About the curse. Until she too became one of those lost in its bowels. Trapped in the same trap as Prince Astreus, son of the Sun and the Moon. A proud prince, real, made of flesh and blood, who is not at all like she has heard of him. At least the fairy tales are wrong about one thing. And maybe they are wrong about everything. Secrets, pride, the whims of the gods, and maybe even fate itself. A burnt-out faith in breaking the curse. Nereyeny must now find a way out before the next full moon comes and the monster finds her.

She was born a wolf in a world that wanted her tamed. Seraphina Ravenshade never asked for silk gowns or gilded palaces, her place has always been the training yard, blade in hand, unflinching before men twice her size. But when the Crown summons her family to the capital, she finds herself forced into a deadly game of politics, power, and temptation. The Crown Prince, Kael, is as dangerous as he is mesmerizing, his golden eyes see too much, his touch burns too deep, and his intentions blur the line between protection and possession. But the shadows whisper another name. Silais, a man with silver hair, a past soaked in blood, and a vow that ties Seraphina to secrets the royal family would kill to bury. Between a prince who cages her with fire and a phantom who claims her in darkness, Seraphina must decide where her loyalty, and her heart truly lies. And in Aurelius, love is just another battlefield. --- 🩸A dark fantasy romance where love is dangerous, power is bloody, and every choice can destroy a kingdom. Read now. But beware, no one escapes unscathed. Hello there! This is my first attempt at writing something, so please bear with me-I'm a bit sloppy when it comes to endings. You might find this story familiar if you're a fan of manhwa. That's no coincidence! This story is inspired by a dream I had after reading a typical romance manhwa (though I can't quite remember which one). All the double gaps means some time delay or skip. I hope you enjoy this little slice of my imagination! 💭✨ This was a one shot in one of my old account (which is not working unfortunately)

"You're playing with fire Safania." "Good thing I don't burn." The last words he spoke before throwing me onto my bed sounded like a threat, but felt more like a promise. "You will." *** Don't get caught. Those are the three words Safania has lived by for the past five years. As a marked woman - easily identified by intricate bronze marks on her back and unpredictable special abilities - she has spent the past five years running from anyone who might exploit those abilities...especially the royal families who tortured marked women to build their empires. Starving, exhausted, and frozen, she collapses by the bank of a river just to wake up in her worst nightmare: the chambers of a prince. Prince Cassius is his father's first choice of his three brothers to ascend to the throne. He's smart, strategic, and stoic, unlike his corrupt and depraved brothers. There's just one problem: he has no interest in any of his proposed marital matches, and the King will only pick someone as his successor who he knows will carry on the family line. But once he meets Safania, he finds himself unable to imagine ruling the kingdom without her by his side. Can he convince her to trust him? *** Warning: this story contains mature and potentially triggering themes including domestic violence and sexual assault. Reader discretion is advised.
