He's known for his bright and outgoing personality, he's always positive, and his love for volleyball is clear.
So it's no surprise that when he encounters a boy who also plays volleyball, that a strong friendship soon follows, even if kenma is the complete opposite to hinata.
After a while, hinata begins for fall for the introverted gamer, and doesn't know how to act with these new feelings. So many questions, and so little time to answer them. Little does hinata know, that kenma may just feel the same way.

in most cases, you move on from high school, maybe keep a friend or two, and try and find your way through life. most go to universities, or just work to help their families, or move out. hinata shoyo, however, went to the university of california, on a volleyball scholarship. it was a surprise many expected, not including hinata's best friend. after hearing that hinata is moving, kozume kenma cried. for the first time in a while, kozume broke down, and cried. for hours. what did this mean for their friendship? hinata is the only friend he's made that truly supported kozume, and without that, kozume found it hard to function, after getting used to it. but years have passed. it's been years since kozume contacted hinata, but it's been years, and it's hinata's time to come back.Complete
